The PE sabiki rig has been developed and field tested in the harsh saltwater environment of Australia. It should be fished with an easy jigging motion or a slow retrieve. Both methods are extremely effective but I prefer the a slow jigging motion. These sabiki bait jigs are used to catch a variety of bait fish species, from tiny fish such as hardy heads and boneys right up to sizeable baits such as yakkas and slimey mackerel. I have used upgraded mono to try and prevent the fatigue when landing tailor or other toothy critters. |
